Summary
The K20 Force Tensiometer is a stand-alone, semi-automatic instrument for all routine quality control tasks involving surface tension and interfacial tension. The instrument's precision force sensor and the accurately shaped measuring probes ensure reliable results, while processor-controlled analyses based on measurement templates provide for user-independent results. The option of long-life battery operation without a computer enables the K20 to be used flexibly on site.
Application
- Testing of the content of decomposition products in oil, especially transformer oil (ASTM D971)
- Determination of the effectiveness of surfactants as wetting and cleaning agents
- Testing of surfactant content in solutions below the critical micelle concentration (CMC)
- Approval of tanks and cleaning validation in the food industry
- Measurement of interfacial tension for quality testing and optimization of emulsifiers
- Testing of cooling lubricants.
