The Slosh Box equipment has been developed mainly for the Non-woven industry in order to see the disintegration capacity of hygienic wipes, both feminine and child. It is already being used in new developments of tissue products with significant percentages of fluff and cellulose pulp, substitutes for non-woven fabrics. This is due to the fact that the dissolution of the non-woven in the water was very weak, thus producing great pipes blockages. Simple and easy to use equipment with visual results. The test consists of having several samples of the material two hours in water with a back and forth movement generating a small turbulence that produces the paper disintegration.
