Shear Stability Tester TR-294

Diesel injector based Shear Stability Tester for polymer containing fluids 

The Ducom TR-294 Shear Stability Tester is used to evaluate the shear stability of polymer containing oils. The tester subjects the oil under test to mechanical shear over a number of cycles.

The TR-294 is designed to be robust, and can be ordered complete with a safety enclosure and stand. It is ergonomic, repeatable and easy to use.

Repeatable.

The TR-294 Shear Stability Tester is the industry standard for ASTM D6278 and ASTM D7109 tests for polymer containing fluids.

  • Fluid Volume: 20 +/- 5 ml

  • Flow  Rate: 170 +/- 5 ml/min
