Score Quality Test, device to perform tests to measure the strength of the creases. Simple and very useful test to adjust the machines of manufacture of boxes and, for the final customer, to detect problems in the automatic packaging machines. It is done in two phases, at first, we do a flexion of the plate at three points without creases, and the second one we do on the crease. By difference we calculate the strength of the creases. The device is placed in the traction machines. Simple and easy to apply test.

Box and general packaging equipments with fixed plates and oscillating fixed plates to meet all the compression standards either ISO, FEFCO or TAPPI. Dimensions according to customer needs. Special equipment designed to measure the packaging with the product inside. Optional programme for PC to make compression, stacking and cyclic tests.
Characteristics
- High rigidity steel frame.
- The guiding of the movable plate is made by means of 4 cylindrical column-guide and low friction linear bearings.
- 2 low friction balls spindles.
- Force capture system equipped with 3 load cells placed under the lower plate.
- Driven by D.C. Servo-motor and reductor to achieve stable speeds in the FS.
- Emergency push button.
- Possibility of two type of upper movable plate : fix and parallel to the inferior plate and movable with omni directional ball, oscillating plate. Consult your provider about these options.
- Optical deformation encoder.
- Configuration of testing and approaching speeds between 1 and 400 mm/min.
- Security. Electronic (programme) and physical (limit switches) protection against overload.
- RS-232 interface for connection to management and control programs.
- Force readings with a resolution of 0.004 % of the FS, and extension readings with a resolution of 0.01 mm.
- Accuracy. <1% of the applied force in a range between 2% and 100% of the FS.
